The Kia Track’ster made its debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. The Track’ster concept is based on a Kia Soul, but has some serious performance modifications to back up its wide stance and aggressive looks. The car is painted in a white out and inferno orange two tone that is definitely eye catching. Kia is really changing their brand image and has shown some other interesting concepts such as the Kia GT concept. These concepts could be a sign of the things to come for the Korean car maker.
Performance
Powering the Kia Track’ster is a 250 horsepower 2.0L turbo four-cylinder that sends power to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Kia has no plans to bring the Track’ster into production, but are using this concept to gauge public opinion to see if producing a car like this in the future would be a successful endeavor.
